Today, PCSO Brown and PCSO Wren have been completing foot patrols in some of our priority areas.
Along the way, we have spoken numerous members of the public who took the opportunity to raise any concerns that they had. As local Officers for the area, we understand that one of the bug bears of the public is those that use the country parks as a place to ride illegal and dangerous off-road vehicles. That is why we regularly patrol these areas. With a regular, visible Police presence in the area, we hope to continue to deter those that put others at risk.
As well as completing our regular patrols in the area, we also paid a visit to Samuel House care home on Shipley Lake, where the residents were enjoying a VE Day Anniversary lunch and to wish a big happy 101st birthday to one of their residents!
Our patrols then took us onto Shipley Garden Centre where we followed up some reports of a dangerous driver in the area.
